Windows laptop and using an app I'm used to using with android phone

So I bought a windows laptop today. I’m trying to get into a game I play on my droid phone. Haven’t used windows since XP.

I have the game downloaded but can’t get to it. Any ideas?

If you can’t find something that is already installed, you can always click on the windows icon (or hit the windows key if available).

Then start typing, it will try to find matches among your apps, files, etc.

Usually when you install something, it’s in your Start menu- click on that little set of 4 boxes in the bottom left, and a big menu pops up. The game should be in there.

This is assuming that you not only downloaded it, but installed it. Sometimes if it’s not an Xbox or Steam game, that’s a two step process- download, then install.

It sounds like you’ve downloaded the game but not yet installed it. It is hopefully in your Downloads folder. Open a File Explorer window by pressing Windows+e and find Downloads (look for the blue arrow). Doubleclick the downloaded file and follow the prompts.

or…
look at your browser’s “download” page and click “view in folder” (or it may be something similar)
