Google Earth isn't on my desktop????

Downloaded Google Earth, know where the installer application is, I installed it, says it’s installed.

I cannot find in anywhere.

Not every program puts an icon on the desktop, it just might be started via the Start menu.

If you’re using Windows 7 or Vista, just open the start menu and try typing in “Google Earth.” If it’s installed, it’ll show up. It’s a good trick to know.

Or just do the grass roots method:

  1. hold down Windows Key+E
  2. navigate to C:\Program Files\Google\Google Earth\client
  3. either double click on googleearth.exe or right click + drag it to your desktop and choose “Create Shortcut here”
