I doubt there are any actual battery powered lighted keyboards because battery life would be awful. I have one of these Kameleon universal remote controls that lights up when you pick it up to use it and goes dark again a few seconds after you set it down. Even with a low duty cycle like that, the 4-AA cells barely last a week.

I had one of those Kameleon things too.

Horrible battery life. That’s why it’s sitting in a box somewhere. I was using rechargeables and I got sick of having to swap the damned things every three or four days.

Anyone want to buy a Kameleon?
