Without A Trace 2/26 Ending? (yes, spoilers)

Seems I fell asleep during last night’s episode of “Without A Trace”. Somewhere after the discovery of the missing GI on the bank robbery tape.

Can anyone fill me in on how it ended?
(Needless to say, I won’t be losing sleep over this, but it would be nice to know.)

THANKS!

Hmmm…was that scene before or after the “girlfriend is doing her boss on the side” sideplot? Well, either way, it’s not that important. Suffice it to say, the relationship between Missing GI and his girlfriend is in trouble.

MGI’s friend (the one who was at his house in an earlier flashback) gets caught and brought before Jack for interrogation. We get a flashback on the bank robbery, and MGI kills an off duty police officer (the underlying idea being that he is trained to kill without thinking – when he saw the officer’s gun, he just shot to kill). MGI took off after that, and the friend does not know where he is.

We also learn that MGI intented to get shot while in Iraq. He stood up from behind cover, apparently thinking that one way or another, he was going home.

The team eventually learns that MGI is somewhere is somewhere near home. We see the girlfriend there talking with Danny, when MGI comes in through the back, gun pointed. He demands to know who Danny is. When he explains, MGI takes his gun and makes him sit in a far corner. MGI tries to calm his hysterical girlfriend when the house is surrounded by FBI and SWAT. Jack gets MGI on the phone. MGI tell Jack to give him two minutes, and then he’ll be out. Jack comments to Samantha that that went too easily.

MGI talks for a minute with his girlfriend, assures her that everything will be all right, and tell he he loves her. Danny seems to sense that something very bad is about to go down. MGI then drop the clip out of his gun and heads for the door. Amid much screaming from Danny and the girlfriend, MGI steps outside with his gun pointed at the SWAT team, thereby committing suicide by cop.

Fade to black, comfort wife 'til she stops crying.

Hey, Hal Briston-
Thanks for the detailed fill-in.
Hope your wife’s feeling better.
(You can tell her I cry over TV shows too sometimes.)
Thanks again!

This is the second show in a row where Danny is in tears at the end.

I was in tears at the end of last weeks too.

Ok Biggirl, I’m drawing a blank here. I remember the end of the episode, but Danny wasn’t in that scene. I remember him talking about being a recovering alcoholic, but that wasn’t the end. In what scene was Danny crying?

Oh yeah. That was last weeks episode. I was thinking of the missing 7th grader one.

Ohhh, right…after the kid tried to hang himself. That’s right…ok, thanks for the reminder.
