Okay, here it is. Excalibre, which in the US would be Excaliber, is a riff on King Arthur’s sword Excalibur. He’s fond of guns, though, so it’s calibre, meaning the barrel diameter of a gun.
Ellis Dee, if I remember right, was the actual name of a California drug enforcement official about the time LSD was outlawed, so it’s a double layered joke.
I just love Harriet The Spry’s screenname, a riff on Harriet The Spy, a children’s heroine.
