Fortunately, not our @Wolfpup !
“We are connected to this wolf pup,” says Debbie Nagano, the director of heritage for the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and a member of the First Nation’s wolf clan …
… “We really want it to be able to have the respect behind it also. Not in the way it’s respected physically; it also need to be respected spiritually.”
… “This wolf pup is bringing us together in a good way, that we can all learn from it,” she said. “That part is a good way to be thankful for this wolf pup.”
You tell 'em, Deb!
But I think readers should focus on the cute pup in the artist’s impression in the CBC article and not the mummified thingie. Not to brag, but I myself sport a handsome coat of tri-coloured fur and big floppy ears, and a lovely smile with my tongue hanging out, that make quite a fetching impression (see avatar).
Maybe the spiritual connection to humanity is that those bastards Romulus and Remus stole all its milk.
