Woman seeking man with 34"-38" waist & 32"-36" inseam length & non-beady eyes

I was poking around craigslist for the first time and ran across this in the personals. I wonder if she’ll greet you at the door with a tape measure, or is this just a polite way of saying “no fatties”.

Heh. Well, maybe it’s payback for all the male-authored ads requesting females by specified sizes?

Sounds to me like a parody.

I have seen enough of MSW’s ads which state “she” must be between 5’3" and 5’6" between 100 and 125lbs and also between 32B-22-32 and 38D-30-38 - and state she must be blonde with blue eyes and meanwhile he’s about 5’ 10" and not a hot catch himself. MSW ads can be so superficial sometimes I can totally see why women don’t respond to any of the winks or emails sent via dating sites.

She didn’t say how big she is. I bet she’s angling for a second wardrobe!

Actually she did though no inseams

34 x 32. Check.

Blue eyes. Check.

Real hair, un colored. Check.

Hate the POTUS. Check.

Seeking some willowy, petite woman to cater to my every need. Oh well.

She’s in the Baltimore region- Good luck!

Gosh, I though her situation would be obvious. this is all a cover. She was probably talking to her best freind’s fiance when he got sucked into a parralel dimension. Now she needs to find a replacement. When the guy shows up she’ll pay him to pretend to be her freind’s fiance long enough to cover her embarassing situation.

More than once I’ve gotten involved with women who wanted to dress me in clothes they had on hand.

The last time, it was her late father’s clothes, which she insisted looked “sexy” on me. Run away!

Maybe it’s one of those deals. (Or does this only happen to me? Do I dress that badly?)

No fatties and no shorties, apparently. I can’t even picture a man with a 36" inseam. Is Tommy Tune even that tall?!

Seeking as someone who spends too much time on internet dating sites, (and who has a very non-superficial ad, at least IMO) I don’t think so. A lot of guys are shallow, but a lot of women are, too.

I was fgoing to say the same thing. I don’t really look at that many MSW ads, byt WSM ads often have extremely specific criteria like the quoted Craigslist ad. The other thing that struck me was that the ad says very little about her; it’s all “I want I want I want.” Men seldom turn down the opportunity to write or talk about themselves, but WSM ads often seem to include a list of demands while revealing very little about the person asking for them.

My 6’4" husband has only a 32" inseam, and he doesn’t have stunted legs or anything. (OTOH, I have a 32" inseam at 5’9".)

Is it really that unusual? I must have at least one pair of pants with a 36" inseam, though I normally wear a 34" (which is easier to find, anyway), and I’m only 6’2".

Too bad I don’t drive a Swedish or German car.

Holy shit, I fit everything in there. My real true love beckons but alas I am already married to a woman who placed the same order.

Didja get fries with that?

Oops! Missed that.

Just FTR, my husband’s is also 34", sometimes he takes a 36", but they’re usually just a* touch * too long. He’s around your height.

Hell, I’m a woman and I have a 32" inseam. However, I’m built like an anime character; I’m 80% legs.

I feel so inadequate. And short. I wear a 30" inseam and even with a 32" the cuff tends to flop around at the end of my foot…

“I like guys who can be themselves”
“I’m not into games”
“You should be cool”

and the all-time winners …

“I like to have fun”

and

“if you want to know, ask me.”
