Fut the whack?

There’s a Time magazine article about Operation Cynthia if anyone wants to log into the site and tell us what it’s about.

The article describes the shoe as orange and black. I hope it was a sneaker, because that’s a very Halloween-y combination for any other type of shoe.

I’m glad Hillary took it in stride.

That’s weird, Wikipedia has nothing on “Operation Cynthia” and the only relevant looking result on Google (at least on the first page) is the Time article. Maybe it’s a conspiracy that was successfully covered up, after all, who would think to look in a magazine! :stuck_out_tongue:

At least we know Hillary’s eyesight has improved since that bad concussion last year.

I recall she had to wear special glasses to correct her double vision.

Why? Did she try to do it at some karaoke for international diplomats one night and fuck up the lyrics real bad or something?

The Time article is about a Bolivian government attempt to get rid of a small band of Cuban-financed guerrillas that were proving tough to rout.

Excerpt:

“The government’s anti-guerrilla campaign, called “Operation Cynthia” after the commanding officer’s daughter, so far has produced only eight captured guerrilla suspects, including a French leftist intellectual named Jules Regis Debray. A close Castro friend, Debray was picked up walking out of an abandoned guerrilla camp three months ago. Since then, he has told half a dozen conflicting stories, some of them implicating Cuba’s long-absent revolutionist, Che Guevara, in the Bolivian operation.”

In other news…

A link to the story about Hillary and her concussion. She apparently had a rough time for several weeks in Dec 2012 and Jan 2013.

Glad to see she’s back to normal now. Good vision and reflexes helped her avoid the shoe.

I see what you did there.
^5

You’re sole-less.

What a heel.

Who throws a shoe?

Honestly!

When I first read the OP I though it was a card shoe that was thrown.
:smack:

I saw a photo of the shoe. (Can’t find a link right now.) It was a brown leather ECCO with a black rubber sole. Not really orange, any more than a basketball is orange.

Basketballs are pretty damn orange.

Roughly this color: วัยรุ่นยุคใหม่จำเป็นต้องมาอ่าน Blog รวมสูตรเกมคาสิโน บอลที่ 1 ของไทย - basketball91.com

Yes, you can definitely call it orange, but it isn’t an outlandishly unnatural color for leather. I just wanted to clarify that the shoe wasn’t some neon highlighter-colored running shoe. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m confused - her concussion 16 months ago has what to do with this incident?

All part of being a high level politician.

I’ve gotta admit . . . she didn’t duck as elegantly as George W. did. Maybe he was used to people throwing things at him.

Seriously. In Taiwan, that probably would have been someone running up and starting a hockey fight with her. :stuck_out_tongue:
