Women of the Dope: Have You (at Least) Made Out with Another Woman?

I was born in 1992, and it’s complicated. I’ve never made out with a girl, but not because I don’t like girls. The thing is, I don’t make out with people I’m not in a relationship with, and the first (only) relationship I’ve had with a girl is a long distance thing. I haven’t made out with her yet, though it’s top of my list of things to do when we meet in person, and haven’t made out with any other girl because I’m with her.

Born before 1980, have made out with a couple of girls, and a full-on three way with a male-female couple. It was okay, it helped me be sure I’m really not into girls. They’re squishy, even when very fit. I prefer to be the only girl in a three-way.

Im with you but its so much more work

Born in 1973. I’ve made out with other women, with men, with genderqueer and agender people. Being queer as a $3 bill means flexibility.

Quoted for Truth.

I was born before Jan 1980, in a country other than the U S of A, and have not, by my own reckoning, ever made out with a woman.

By Fred13’s reckoning, though, I’ve had relationships with hundreds of women: all my female relatives, every single one of my female classmates, most of my female coworkers (from several countries), my BFF, a girl from another school with whom my BFF and I shared the bed (each of us in her own sleeping bag) during a multi-school shinding when we were 10… Apparently I’ve also had relationships with most of my male classmates and a large percentile of my male coworkers. His notions of my sex life are so much more lively than my notions of my sex life!

Would you prefer life Fred’s way or the way it’s turned out in reality

Well, so far in this entirely self-selected unscientific survey, a scant majority of women born post-Reagan have indeed tasted the tender fruit of the human female, whilst the same is true for a substantial minority (but a minority none the less) of women who came into this world before the Apple II.

So, one may very tentatively conclude that, while that unspeakably beautiful event known as chicks getting busy is reasonably common, at least in certain populations, it is by no means universal.

You on this, Fred?

Yeah, I also have screwed with the poll by voting this way although, obviously, as non-Americans, we don’t REALLY count…

Funny, that’s why I like them. Oh well, more for me.

Reality please. It’s hard to think of someone more unsexy than my mother - and that’s despite having a 98yo grandmother and despite living in a country where it’s commonplace to see beggars in church doors. By Fred’s reckoning, I’m dating both Mom and the Grandma from Hell, but not the beggars (I mean, exchanging “good morning” with someone doesn’t count as a date, does it?).

I haven’t kissed or made out with another girl, although I think I would have liked to try. But I don’t think I really understood that or had the self-awareness to deal with it at the time where I could have experimented. And there was at least one girl who might have been interested in experimenting with me, but who (I think) decided I wouldn’t be interested because I was nominally religious. (She was probably right; see the previous line about self-awareness.)

Now that I’m married, it won’t happen unless mr. hunter wants a threesome  (We actually had this conversation the other day: Me: “I think a threesome is a bad idea because I think it would take way too much time.” Him: “Unless we could find someone who liked to clean, and then she could do the cleaning and we could spend more time with our computers!”)

I was born in 1971, and have never so much as kissed another woman.

I spent most of the '90s in gay bars, because my best friend was a lesbian who wasn’t comfortable in straight bars: I did lots of self-reflection, and could have done plenty of “experimenting” if I’d wanted to. But the only result was a certainty that I am quite straight.

I did slow-dance with another woman at a gay club once, though: my friend was very interested in someone who was on the floor with someone else, so I cut in to let her dance with the object of her affection. I finished the dance with the other woman, during which time we chatted pleasantly for a minute, but there was no further physical contact.

In the thread cited in the OP I became a lesbian by listening to some music. I am also a dual citizen. Am I allowed to vote?

I have not made out with another woman. But when I was a college student travelling around Europe with my best friend, at one point when we found ourselves staying in a dump of a hotel in Switzerland, we got drunk and took a shower together.

I told some friends this story and belatedly realized, as the men were gaping at me, that it sounded like the plot of a porn flick. Actually, the hotel charged to use the shower and we were too cheap to pay twice.

I know, right?

Born in the 60’s. I was screamingly homophobic through most of highschool and then changed schools and made new friends who were much more open-minded. Helped me be more tolerant and open to new things, including the idea of being physically affectionate and intimate with another woman. I have kissed and fondled a few women. Women have a nice softness to them. I had one serious relationship with a woman in my twenties, and have never ruled out another relationship with a woman, but I am primarily heterosexual. I like men, and it’s much easier being part of a straight couple.

So you were a lesbian wingman. Well I’ll be a monkey’s uncle.

Did you really just bump your 16 month old thread for that?

Pretty much, yeah. I stopped in to check what the final poll numbers were and read Misnomer’s post. It sounded interesting, so I said so, more or less. Could have PMed her, I suppose.
