Initially, I mean. I’m pretty sure folks of any preference can get past a homely face if there is a suitable personality behind it, and even a classic beauty can inspire retching at the mere thought of intimacy if their spirit is reprehensible enough.
But let’s say you’re in a comfortable setting and you “notice” someone who makes you think to yourself, “Hm, she is relevant to my interests…” Not that you would necessarily take the next step and kidnap her or whatever.
But what is it most likely that caught your attention? Nice face? Boobs? Moves like a panther? Clothes? Shoes that match her eyes? Generally female? Butch/lipstick? This is just a completely shallow question, and I’m not looking for any kind of deep analysis (I am a dude after all). I just wanna know what typically transforms a “female human” into a person of interest. For you.
Almost ditto purplehorseshoe- dark curls, readheads, and big eyes.
I also like style. Lots of different kinds of style, but a pretty dress that suits someone will make me notice her right away.
I like feminine pixie cuts. I like women who are a little androgynous, but not butch. I like pale, ethereal faces on skinny girls and curves on girls with darker complexions. On black girls, I love natural or natural-looking hair- wild and curly.
And then, of course, I also want a shining, funny, slightly cynical but ultimately altruistic, must-love-dogs personality. but if I’m looking just at magazine models or something, those are the ones that catch my eye.
Girls that look nerdy and pretty, especially if they are wearing something really interesting. I usually find longish wavy hair with bangs attractive on girls. Lack of makeup (I think it rarely enhances one’s appearance).
There are particular facial shapes that work for me. I can’t particularly describe them, but I know them when I see them. Everything else thereafter is pretty immaterial.
Natural beauty. Redheads, but only sort of. Girls who have thin faces and look good in shortish hair. Freckles. How is she not the most gorgeous thing you’ve ever seen? Hell, I’d build a house for her!
Freckles, great posture, and wild,natural hair. (No complicated, moussed/sprayed styles, trendy haircuts, or obvious attempts to pull off an unnatural haircolor as one’s own. Rainbow colors or mohawks are exceptions: unique is always good.)
I can appreciate all sorts of feminine beauty, but the women I have felt a real ‘spark’ with are always very boyish (well, ‘pretty-boyish’ honestly), in everything from body language to speech to dress. They also generally have ‘boy’ hairstyles (I’ve had crushes on about 5 girls with shaved/buzzed heads…mm).
Other than that, I don’t really have a physical ‘type’ when it comes to women. I have a strong one when it comes to men.
