Women's voices in oldest Bond films are dubbed?

If you go to the Trivia section of the IMDB for all the older Bond films (Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball and* You Only Live Twice*), there’s an entry that reads:

>>All female voices heard in this film, with the exception of Lois Maxwell as Miss Moneypenny, are dubbed by the same, uncredited, English actress.<<

So that means the voice I heard coming out of the mouth of Tatiana in From Russia With Love, (IMO the hottest Bond girl), just happens to be the same voice as Kissy Suzuki from You Only Live Twice AND Ursula Andress’ voice from Dr. No, not to mention every single other woman who speaks in all five of these films?

I have a hard time believing that every woman’s speaking role in all of these films was the same woman’s voice, and I didn’t notice, having seen them all dozens of times. Can anyone confirm / debunk this one?

Watch Dr. No and Thunderball back to back some time and pay particular attention to the leading ladies. Apart from the fact that they are both beautiful, look great in a bikini and possess an almost masochistic devotion to James Bond, Honey Ryder and Domino Derval share one other important feature: the same voice. Yes, both Ursula Andress and Claudine Auger lost their voices to a former English actress named Monica van der Zyl. ………

Such relative anonymity allowed the producers of the early Bond films to simply replace the actual voices of Ursula Andress (whose scratchy, Swiss-German accent–an accent which the actress herself has joked about–may be heard in the 1967 spoof Casino Royale) and Claudine Auger (who spoke English with a heavy French accent), and to replace them with that of Ms. van der Zyl. In fact, Ms. van der Zyl’s range was apparently so great that, according to her own 1983 account, she provided the voice for every female character in Dr. No save Miss Moneypenny and Miss Taro. A careful examination of the film supports her contention to the extent that Strangways’ Secretary, Sylvia Trench, the Girl Photographer, Honey Ryder and Dr. No’s female radiation technician all quite clearly share the same voice. The stewardess at Kingston airport, the Government House telephone receptionist, Professor Dent’s receptionist and the hotel receptionist also sound sufficiently similar to justify the claim. Only the two nurses in Dr. No’s sanatorium appear to have distinctly different voices.

Ms. van der Zyl again provided Sylvia’s voice in From Russia With Love, as well as the voice of the receptionist at Bond’s hotel (the one to whom Bond complains that his bed is too small). She went on to dub the voice of Bonita and Jill Masterson in Goldfinger; that of Bond’s dance partner in Thunderball; that of Kissy Suzuki in You Only Live Twice; Olympe (Draco’s girlfriend) in OHMSS and, although she did not mention it in her 1983 interview, Chew Mee in The Man With The Golden Gun.

The article also mentions that even some male voices in the Bond series were replaced also.
