Sci Fi actually returns to the Sci Fi Channel!
Just saw it on the Sci Fi Channel site.
July 10th!
I was really afraid they were going to cancel this and program more of that stupid ECW wrestling or another Frankenfish.
That is all.

It’s been greenlit for a while now. I’m just as pleased about it as you are. It’s just a shame that Heroes and Lost are both ending this week; that’s a heck of a gap between shows.

Sweet! The huz and I are very happy about this. (I’d been checking my TiVo season pass to see if there were any upcoming episodes. I was getting worried. Didn’t think to check the network site. Der.)

Looking forward to it, but can’t believe it’s taken so long.
The 4400 starts June 17th, a little sooner than Eureka.

This is good news indeed. Thanks for the heads up.

Wow! *The 4400 *is returning? I figured it was finished- last season’s finale seemed kinda… final. I guess they were covering their bases. That’s decent of 'em.
The Dead Zone is also coming back- I figured that one was a deader, as well. It’s great to see all these good (okay, decent) shows returning.

Eureka’s tendency to narrowly avert destroying the world or killing everyone in town on a weekly basis began to wear on the suspension of disbelief after a while. I’ll still watch it, of course… I’d just like to see a deeper integration of mad-scientist gadgetry (e.g., the opening credit sequence) into the culture of the town without it being a plot device. A couple of episodes that have no grand crisis, but just explore the impact of new technologies on how people live and interact.
