50 hours until we get the quirkiest little show on TV back!
The second half of the season will feature several neat guest stars in recurring roles: Wil Wheaton and Felicia Day.
Anybody else as stoked for this show’s return as I am?

Wil Wheaton has already appeared, right?
Yep. He had several previous appearances as Dr. Parrish. But he gets a much bigger arc this time.
Wallace Shawn and Stan Lee are also having cameos this season. I’m looking forward to that.
What I really wish is that they’d get Ed Quinn (Nathan Stark) back for more after his appearance in 4.0. The show definitely has not been the same since he left.
Are you my wife? She gets all moist whenever Ed shows up.
That’s ok, because Salli Richardson-Whitfield has a comparable effect on me.
I don’t have cable. How long before episodes start showing up on syfy’s website or hulu?
Siffy usually has them up on their site pretty rapidly.
I’m pretty sure Hulu has them the next day. At least that’s how it was for 4.0 because I’m sure I wached most of the season on Hulu.
Hm…apparently whoever wrote this episode has never seen any episode with Zane.
3 cheers for analog phones!
Nice fakeout with the wedding at the beginning.
I loved the little 2001: A Space Odyssey reference with Fargo as the starchild.
My biggest criticism of this show is that I wish Jo wasn’t in love with such a douchebag. I know in the original timeline Zane is a little better, but he was still annoying. In this timeline, he’s a bigger dick than ever.
Speaking of which, I wonder if they are really sticking with this timeline for good. I also wonder if we’ll ever hear them mention the FTL drive again. Even in Eureka, FTL would be a game-changer.
That’s what gets me about this show. They have technology that is SO far beyond anything else, but it has no effect on anything, even themselves. Last season, there was a paint that made things disintegrate when touched. Wouldn’t that change EVERYTHING?
They do have a bit of TOS Syndrome, don’t they?
Word I’ve heard is that this is the new reality. No switching timelines back to the old one. When Grant zapped everything just as Carter rammed the Consortium Invisibuilding, that did it for the bridges.
Next week - Felicia Day! Whee!
I live in fear of this. To date I have always found her hopelessly and annoyingly inept.
Next day it was. They also had Warehouse 13 and Alphas.
So it wasn’t just me who thought he was out of character?
I’d like to see them bring Nathan back as well. I’ve just been catching up on the series on Netflix and that’s my favorite character right now.
Nope
Ed Quinn needs to come back just before Jack and Allison get married. Have the “wormhole event” that zapped him drop him nekkid (that’s for you, honey!) in the church as the ceremony is about to begin.
Highest ratings EVER.
Considering they had him half naked in his guest appearance last season, why not? (And as an manifestation of Carter’s imagination, no less. What, exactly, that says about Carter that he had to imagine Stark with his shirt off and shorts only a micrometer away from revealing his naughty bits has been speculated endlessly on by the fans. There was a lot of foe yay in their character interaction from the very beginning)
Also, for your wife, who seems to be a woman after my own heart…
Some moving gifs and pics. Work-safe. Not for dial-up, and not mine; I just found them and thought I’d share (scrolling down required. The article is from January and not current; the fun stuff is in the comments):
