Just read that Donald Fagen has a new album coming out, Morph the Cat, due to hit stores March 14th. Even better news is that he’s doing a small tour around the country (info including sample player here)…and even better than that, it looks like Steely Dan will be touring again this spring.
Since info on the Dan is usually scant, I thought I’d pass the word along here.
P.S.: I’m three songs in right now and each song sounds better than the one before. Good stuff!

Hooray!..I mean, oh crap! He isn’t coming any closer to me than Cleveland. Oh well, there’s another one of my favorite artists I guess I’ll never see. But I’ll buy his album no matter what. I can only hope Steely Dan comes somewhere closer than a thousand miles. Atlanta, even - I’m there.

Sure. I’ve been a huge fan for decades and I’ve been glad to see that both he and Steely Dan are continuing to release new work and tour.
Woo hoo, this is almost as good as a new Roger Waters album… Love the Dan, and Fagen. I’ll have to remember to keep an eye out for this.
