Rain in Denver finally! I doubt it will be all that much, but it’s lasted at least 15 minutes now.
I hope extends far south enough to hit the fire areas with something.
We need every bit of water we can get around here to hinder later fires.
It cleaned all the crap out of the air, I stood in the rain smelling the first clean air in weeks for like 5 minutes.
It’s washing some of the ash crap off my car. I love my car and have had a huge internal debate about knowing I should wash the stuff of to save my paint, but with the potential water shortages I know it would be selfish.
But on the other hand there is lightning too, which makes me nervous about new fires.
Yes, It finally rained. It was pretty much an off and on thing for the late evening around the Lakewood area. When I left for work this morning all the plants and ground is nice and wet.
Yay, I hope you get more! I was thinking the other day as it rained here for the umpteenth day in a row that I wish I could send you guys some of it. I appreciate it, because we need it, but I know you guys really need it, too.
It looked like it was going to rain after about 4ish, but the clouds went by without dropping. Last nights storm was a surprise with its suddenness…that channel 2 lady didnt say anythign about rain.
