Woohoo! Walkers Shortbread cookies are back!

This assortment is finally available again in Costco! Found them this morning during my weekly after-church shopping run.

Happy days are here again!

I just wish I could have a conversation with the boneheaded buyer at Kirkland, and explain to him that this is really a staple, and as such, should not be placed in the store shelves only on a “seasonal” basis.

What are YOUR favorite items that the stores should be carrying year-round, but for some inexplicable reason have not shown the good sense to do so?

*but the paintings on the tin, instead of depicting Bonnie Prince Charlie, are showing us some golf-themed scenes. And there’s a little essay about the history of golf on the bottom.

Pfeffernusse cookies. If I can find them, it’s only at Christmas.

Costco carries a great frozen french onion soup, but only in the Winter.

Hell, yes.

Stick-O-Pep Life Savers. (aka “barber pole”)They used to be available everywhere, all the time. About a decade ago they disappeared, only to reappear in the winter, I suppose as a Christmas stocking stuffer. A couple of years ago they disappeared entirely and I’m not optimistic about their return.

Dammit, they TASTE better than Pep-O-Mint!
