We got it…I can stay employeed for a while. We are gonna be hireing like 7k people soo…
Looks like it’s going to be chicken fried filet mignon for you from now on!
Hmmm…I wonder how ribeye would do?
Forget the ribeye. You might get better results from using a thin cut London broil but going much above that in quality of cut is just gilding the lily. Again bdgr, congratulations on obtaining a modicum of job security in these trying times. Much to my own dismay, some friends of mine were laid off just yesterday.
Please tell me, did your lady go through all of the motions and do the complete serrating of the meat as per the recipe? Making the lattice cuts is one of the great secrets of the recipe. Just curious.
PS: Let me know of any other recipes you have a yen for. Also, how’s the back?
Yeah, she did the serrating thing, and it turned out great. We use usda choice serloin(I have had her make it like 6 times now.
The back is doing better. In fact, I get to go back to work monday, and it should be a blast after todays anouncement. I still have to be carefull what I do, but I am pretty much pain free. I think its the chicken fried steak and the ribs(that dry rub kicks ass). Ill take good meat of vicoden any day.
Forgive me Bdgr…
But does the fact that someone building the next generation of our fighters and can’t spell sirloin bother anyone else?
Or is it just me?
Doh!..I am actually a computer geek, a systems administrator, and I have a spell checker at work. So I don’t build the things, just support those who do.
