Chronos, Wookinparub was responding to a post and not insulting the poster directly, imo. Could you please review the OP and her response and perhaps reconsider the warning?

Yeah, I don’t think, “You, sir. (or madam) are the poster child of rude movie goers” quite rises to the level of a warning.
I agree. Wow was that a mild criticism. “If you do this you are being rude” is not remotely an insult.
I deserve a warning for this. 
Neither comment deserved a warning, IMO.
I don’t spend enough time in CS to say for sure but going from the OP to say post #50 it at least needed a “tone it down or else” or something. And having read the first two pages twice now ---- how did that all happen? IMHO several people got way serious way fast for the subject. But that could just be me.

That was a bullshit warning. Especially so long after the fact *and *having closed the thread down anyway.
The other one, for JAQ, not so much - that was “wishing harm upon”, plain as day.
To be honest, I chuckled at WOOKINPANUB’s description of me. I definitely didn’t take it as an insult.
I agree. It’s an attack against the poster, not the post, so it’s technically a personal attack, but calling someone “rude” hardly rises to the level of a personal attack meriting a warning.
He even called him “sir” fer chrissakes.
I normally don’t wade into mod critiques, but I agree that the warning was a misunderstanding. It wasn’t intended to be an insult in the context of forum participation. It was one of those “People who do X annoy me, and well, since you do X, you’re the kinda guy who annoys me.”
We have a thread asking if certain behaviour is rude or not and we get someone who says that if you are doing something in that way then you are being terribly rude?
How shocking!
God, what an idiotic warning. If saying, essentially, “You are a rude person for doing this” rises to the level of a moddable personal insult, we’re down the rabbit hole.
