let’s think logically, here people! the only possible way for this battle to take place in the the squid’s home turf. The mammoth could easily wade a little too far into the ocean and BAM! the squid striked like lightening and wins with only a slight struggle. But there’s no way for the squid to get onshore to battle the mammoth. even if it were beached, there wouldn’t be a battle. the question was “who would win a fight” and if the squid were beached, it would be more of a stomp than a fight.

Yeah, but I heard on the TV there is a move afoot to clone a woolly mamoth. So maybe some hardy soul can capture a giant squid, train it to fight, make it radioactive and book this match. Sounds high profit to me. Get Don King to promote the fight, with Mike Tyson signed to fight the winner and you can’t miss.
