I just filed for graduation this Autumn Quarter. By the end of this year, I’ll have a degree.

I HAVE BEEN SMOKE-FREE FOR:
Three weeks, four days, 12 hours, 56 minutes and 19 seconds.
1021 cigarettes not smoked, saving $127.69.
Life saved: 3 days, 13 hours, 5 minutes.
Excellent. Congratulations, felicitations and all that salutary stuff. When’s the drunken bash?
Woo Hoo!! That’s awesome! I know how excited I was when I was done.
So what are your plans after that? Does this mean there’ll be a wedding this Fall? I thought I remembered reading that you were waiting until after you graduated.
Awesome. Nice going, Libby.
You gotta dump the Bills, though. It looks bad on a resume.
Congratulations Libby!! I’m so happy for you!
That rocks, Drain! I admire the hard work you’ve put into it.
Blinking…Lauralee? Is that you? I don’t think I’ve seen you around these parts for a spell. Should I go get Mullinator?
Yeah… haven’t had a good sandwich for a while!
Congrats and best wishes, Drain.
Now don’t go getting senioritis on us!!
And stay away from the guys! The last thing you need right now is some guy in your life taking up all your time and energy and…what?..oh. Never mind.
Way to go Libby.
Happy to hear it.
Congratulations!!
Graduation is December 8th, so I guess the drunken bash would be on Saturday, December 9th. Maybe I should have a DopeFest…
As for the wedding, that’s after I graduate from LAW school. Tentative date for that (the wedding, not the graduation) is sometime in September, 2004.
But wait, can you have a luau wedding in September? grins
In all seriousness, congratulations, hon!
WTG, Drain! :):)
Congrats, Drain!
Right on Lib! Congrats!
Yay, Drain! Law school better watch out, too! Most everyone would like to have Satan at their side going through that…
{uncouth whistling, stomping, yelling, cheering}
Way to go, Libby! You’ve worked damned hard, and best of all, you didn’t stint on the content and PURPOSE of your education. Hey, don’t think it doesn’t show in your posts.
It’s fine, damned fine, to celebrate someone who honored the real principles of learning.
Gotta say, it’s truly comforting that someone of your heart, mind and character will pursue law. For all the cheap jokes, it’s an honorable profession. If it’s fallen into temporary dishonor, all the more reason for high minded, high hearted people to pursue it for the RIGHT reasons.
Here’s frosty beer and fries-in-gravy in your honor!
