Word Pictures instead of Cartoons

Sometimes less than 1000 words can equal a picture.

See how few words you can use to create the equivalent of a cartoon such as the ones you see on the editorial page. Single frame sort of thing.

Example:

Side of a building with a painter’s scaffold in front of it.

In lower portion of frame a paint bucket spilling, a paintbrush, and a human foot attached (presumably) to an unseen leg.

In bold letters on the side of the building JESUS SAVE and the beginnings of what would be an S with just the top curl and then a long streak down the side of the building.
