I lucked out on my first guess, getting the first two letters right.

On the third guess, there were only two words remaining that had that fourth letter, and I flipped a coin. It was wrong, otherwise I would have guessed it in three tries.

Wow, guessed 4 including 2 in the right place with my 1st guess! And drat, almost got it in 2! I thought of TRICE but second-guessed myself, thinking that TRUCE was more likely. Glad to see that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t think that TRICE was a likely choice.

Got excited when I saw three greens and one yellow on my second word…until I saw the trap. :roll_eyes: I almost went with Trice for my 3rd word…was just feeling it, even though it seemed least likely (but that’d be just how Wordle rolls), but I decided to not take my chances and I went with a sleuth word. I then kicked myself for not listening to my instincts, but I’ll take the 4.
