Really didn’t think she’d go with this word either. I had Ovine, Opine and Whine for my choices, and I went with what I felt would be most likely, as I always do. Didn’t pay off this time, but getting it in 4 is miles better than my disastrous fail yesterday, so I’ll take it.

I didn’t think they’d go with another word starting with EX just two days apart either, but they did…so really, it wasn’t a bad move on your part. :wink:

Thanks for the sympathy on my fail…I tell myself it’s just a game, but that doesn’t always take the sting out. My first one was way back when I first started playing, and I took it as a learning experience and was able to avoid it for 9 months, so there’s that at least. :slight_smile:

In the past 6 months or so, I’ve been getting many more 3s and 2s than before. I’m not sure if it is somehow easier, or if I’ve gotten a lot better. I do think through my tries more than I used to, I suppose.

A lucky first guess (part of my usual rotation of starting words) gave me a lot of information. And though I could think of quite a few longer words containing R and S and ending in T (SQUIRT etc.), SKIRT was the only five-letter one that came to mind.
