I didn’t even think SLANE was a word, but I tried it for the consonants, only to fall into a vowel trap.
Didn’t think I needed a sleuth word at four, but I’d missed BRAKE, BRAVE, and CRAVE, and it almost cost me the win.
Just poorly played all around. As I said a few days ago, I used to be good at this game.

No idea, I don’t use Wordlebot. Maybe one of the people who does can chime in.
I like seeing how I performed compared to the rest of the Wordlers 
And, I like it when I beat Wordlebot which I did today (got in 3 versus Wordlebots 5).
I got to CRA_E pretty easily, but blew it with CRATE, CRANE, and CRAZE.
Insert a guess word such as VENTS which would determine if the word is CRAVE, CRANE, or CRATE.
Good strategy. I’m more of a causal guesser. Maybe I can up my game.

There was no guarantee, after step 3, that the solution would start with a C–but it was a good place to start guessing. (Only 17 letters remained after step 3.) Several variants mentioned above had been eliminated by the first three guesses; CRAVE seemed like a good investigative guess (to find out if the word ended in E, among other things).

Got stuck in a trap after my second word and had 5 words to choose from. I decided to go with a sleuth word (Snive)…I had to look that up to see if it was actually a word, and to my surprise it is - I was glad to see the V hit. I’ve been getting too many 5’s lately, so I’m happy with the 4.
