I was so proud of myself for getting a three, but it turns out I’m just part of the rabble.
Man, this one tripped me up!! It took me forever to work out the answer. How embarrassing!

I wonder what the mathematical odds are of rearranging four misplaced letters - two of which were eliminated from two positions - and not getting any of them in the right spot.
(FWIW, Scordle told me that all of my guesses were the “best.”)
STOCK → Single-vowel word, perhaps? Should try at least a smattering of vowels…
GROUP → It’s not U (it’s me…) Time to look for where the R goes…
FLOOR* → Not there, but a serendipitous guess leaves me with…

I was happy with my result until I saw everyone else’s 3s. Serves me right for trying to keep up with the Joneses…

What a slog. Happy to come out of it with a 4.

A slog. I was somewhat surprised to be reminded that BORAX is a generic name, not a brand name (I seem to recall this coming up months ago, and remembered it wrong).

Sometimes it’s good to change up your start word.
Today was not that day. Hope this keeps some people from being spoiled since I almost always start with the same word.
There will be a bunch of twos and threes for 654 I think. My two took about 8 seconds

Well, that was a pleasant surprise! With my second word, I was just trying to reduce the number of possible positions for those three yellows, and exclude (or not) a couple of vowels, hoping to narrow things down enough to get a 3. Instead, the whole thing turned green, for my second 2 in a row!
Of course, then some of y’all upstage me and get this in 1.
