After 2, I saw TAFFY, TABBY, TABOO, and TAUPE, but missed TAIGA. Went with TABBY because if wrong, it would tell me which of the other three could be right; would have gotten a 5 only if TAIGA had been the solution. While I liked TABOO best, if wrong it would have given no basis to choose between TAFFY, TAUPE, and TAIGA so a 6 would have been possible.

FORCE → Kinda slow for a start, but I can try an A and three comcons along with it next. Eventually I saw SALON and
TALON → and was was glad I went with it, but this looked a little trappish for a while. But, I couldn’t think of any words to fill in the trap. until I thought about doubling up on letters. I thought TATO and added another O, but that usually has 3 Ts, then realized it was
TABOO
Scoredle’s vowel hunt algorithm works well here; it tries SHOOT with the second guess and then knows there’s another O out there. I generally prefer to hunt for consonants early as I think it can help more on traps in the late game. In the event, we both finished this one in three.

Poorly played. I got stuck on trying to figure out the 4th letter. An L seemed likely but I couldn’t find a word that fit. Every other option seemed to yield one choice. Probably should have used a test word at 4.
