TABOO → One and only one O, that’s fairly useful. Really need some comcons; I see one word that only checks two but also KOs two vowels, so I’ll try
OSIER → which at least hit on a comcon. I hoped here to check both L & N, but couldn’t see a word that covered both. Was also thinking about U and saw some possibles, but really wanted to get more comcons, so went with
GROWL → and with that O in the middle, figured I didn’t need another vowel but wanted to try the U anyway, so
CROUP → covered it, and here I was starting to get a little antsy, but figured there wasn’t much left besides
FROND
Starting from TABOO, Scoredle never tries either U or I, or L for that matter. Pretty fun puzzle for a bogey.

After two, I had three valid words left, and yep, I used ‘em all.
None of the words had any overlapping letters in the missing places, which made things tricky.
I considered a sleuth word to guarantee a par, but figured I had a 2/3 chance of par or better anyway, so I went for it. You can see the results.
I resisted the urge to look at the used words list. Turns out it wouldn’t have helped me anyway.
@psychobunny, I’ve noticed that you and I often think alike in this game. Not sure what that says about either of us!

After PROUD, I had FROND first, CROWD second and BROOD third. I figured CROWD was way more of a Wordle word than FROND. Guess not. At least it wasn’t BROOD. That was my mood, though!

FROND → Should I do a Scoredle-style search to place the R? I’ll just do the usual, two comcons and two new vowels.
ALERT → Two letters now, both unplaced. Perhaps now I should take the hint from Scoredle?
RISER → At least I know where that R is now. I can think of one word with a U, so I’ll give that at try.
