This is what happens when you are too lazy to go through the options systematically and just throw out random guesses for a trap. I did mentally run through the options before entering guess five which is where I saw the answer and that it was the only other option I could find.

Scoredle also makes par, but with a better approach game than mine, thanks to its “guess repeat letters” strategy. Seems like I never know when to try that and when not to.

My brain wasn’t really in gear for this one. I was pretty sure I’d remembered MAYOR as a previous answer, but had trouble seeing anything else. Half a second after I’d entered it I saw SAVOR. I somehow never did see FAVOR or RAZOR, so this could have gone much worse. I’ll take the bogey and slink away.
Glad I’m not the only one who struggled with this one a bit.

Narrowed that long list of words I was seeing down to just one with CRONY…wasn’t expecting that. 
I know others here have gotten it in 1 before, but not sure about getting it twice. I never have, and I won’t unless I change my start word, as it has been used. I used to go with different start words all the time, but I never got a 1.
