AWASH → Strikeout. Thinking I & E and three WoFcons next. Most of my good first guesses second use S or A but I can’t do that here, so
INTER → Two vowels, nothing else. One WoFcon left, I’ll add to it a pair of other consonants, on the assumption I’m done with vowels
GLIDE → That may have been a bad assumption, as there aren’t many consonant pairs left that can go before the I. I’ll try with
VOICE → That cuts things down considerably. Still need that vowel, though…

Scoredle finishes in 6 from my starter; it doesn’t find the middle letter until its third guess, and doesn’t place it till the fifth, mostly because its second guess tries a different second vowel. I’m glad I evaded my usual pattern from here or I might have ended up similarly.

JUICE → Not what I would have expected, but welcome. I figured I’d try a -CK ending, and went back and forth between -ACK and -OCK, finally trying the latter, but using a duplicate consonant…
KNOCK → (I really got hung up on the N!) But when I started looking for more WoFcons, I naturally saw
STOCK → (It was all I could do to not try TROCK). So now I was solidly in a trap, but it appeared to be a small one, because I figured it had to be
SHOCK → (Looked around for more consonants here) It’s not SPOCK, so it really must be
