AMONG → For a second there, I was very optimistic. It’s something to build on, and doesn’t stop me from my favorite first word second
SLATE → Good range of letters. I think there’s still another vowels to find, so I’ll throw in an I and another WoFcon, perhaps an N
TINAS → Yep, I had already tried an N with the first word, grrrrr.. STAIR would have been wordle-valid, though the S would have been in the same spot… Anyway, with that I in the mix, I can try
WAIST

Turns out it was a tap-in, despite the misplay on my third guess - so very lucky, I’d have to say. Scoredle matches my par, with the only final-guess suspense being between the solution and an archaic verb conjunction.

Well, not exactly. I’ve been maintaining my own Excel spreadsheet of past solutions since mid-2022. To each their own, of course, but I’d personally feel a bit more uncomfortable checking against an online list of past solutions than one I’ve been keeping and adding to, day by day, since almost the beginning.
