RUGBY → Ended our streak of Gs, started one of Rs… and a Y, but not at the end. Hmmm. Perhaps the Y is the only vowel in the midst of WoFcons?
TRYST → Nope. Where does that Y go? I thought of YORIC/YORIK on a lark (I had just read a review of Hamnet) which got me thinking of acting which got me thinking of Meryl Streep which got me thinking of
BERYL → Which I shouldn’'t have thought of since the B is excluded. Anyway, at least I placed the R. Then I hit a ten minute brick wall, until I thought of our holiday season

That second guess was 36/136 per Scordle, and of course my third guess was not even in the list, though it left me with only one nonbogus possible left. Scoredle also solves in par, with a straight tap-in putt.
