HEART Yippee! Three green to start with. This should be easy…
BEARD
WEARY
PEARL … or not so easy
A weird one for a trap. There was also “YEARN”.

Yay! A two!
SPINE → P, nice. Should try an A, and two of the remaining three WoFcons.
PEARL
PETAL might have attracted my attention, if I had seen it first. I don’t think I’ve ever had a streak of two 2s in a row before. Scoredle shows 229 possibles after the first guess, so I got even luckier than yesterday. Scoredle itself finishes with a birdie.
Wordle 1,252 3/6
YEAST (That’s a nice pair of placed vowels. First thing that comes to mind is xEACH.)
REACH (No CH, but the R is nice. And it’s obviously xEARx. Another WoFcon?)
PEARL (That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.)
And LEARN. So after HEART, there were BEARD, LEARN, PEARL, WEARY’, and Y’EARN. Best choices at 2 would have been LEARN or YEARN, which would have ID’d each other, and PEARL or WEARY, respectively.
Of course if you keep track of used words, it’s just down to a coin toss between BEARD and PEARL.
I don’t. Just doesn’t seem kosher.
I discovered the other day that if you’re bored and want to do tomorrow’s Wordle today (along with the Connections and Strands games), you just need to change your computer or phone’s time zone to change the current time to after midnight. Note that it doesn’t work for the Spelling Bee or the daily crossword puzzle.

I didn’t think JELLY would actually be right, I was just trying to figure out if there was a Y.

BELLY had been used. So had LEGGY, which I entirely overlooked.
Happy to get a 4, given where I was after 2.
PEARL → That’s an OK start. Three WoFcons out there, and I’d like to try an O, but I can’t find a word using two of the WoFcons with an O, so I’ll try a different consonant
FELON → I can see entirely too many words here. Time to start trying them… first a word with an S
DELIS → Nope. Trust the B?
BELCH → Nope. T is still out there, and repeat the E?
TELEX → Nope. One guess left. Not many letters left on the board, though, so it becomes hard to miss
JELLY
I go the distance to end my streak of (2) twos. Scoredle makes the right move (doubling up) with its second guess and finishes with a birdie. Rough morning.
Wordle 1,253 4/6
CRANE - Not a great start
HOIST - Vowel eliminator, and I doubt that the answer is an ‘eu’ or ‘ue’ word. So. . .ends in ‘y’?
BELLY - Really lucky guess.
