CAROB was another possible so it was a 50-50 for birdie. My followup was 14/907, so I guess it qualifies as fairly skillful. Scoredle’s top-rank followup ends up with one repeated letter but no new finds; after that, it stumbles its way to a bogey.
@Spoons I’ve seen the same thing in Scoredle’s possibles list. I think it happens because there are some many possibles (almost all bogus) with that terminal-S that it automatically tries one of them - it seems to be thinking it’s looking at the mother of all traps, and tries to give itself as much time as possible to suss it out.
