MOUND → Carryover nets me a useful consonant. Need to throw it into the ol’ Anagrammator along with A, E and two WoFcons, I thought about TAMER but decided that the S might be more productive
TAMES → I was wrong. So now I got worried about a terminal Y, so I eschewed my usual WoFcon work and tried
HEMPY → Which went nowhere. And then I thought a second E might be more productive to check than an I (and maybe another M too!) so I went with
FEMME → And now I have two guesses left and those WoFcons are still hanging over my head like the Sword of Damocles. At least I’m pretty sure there’s an I in there, so I pencil into 4th mentally, then think about LEMI? words, and then try REMI? and see

Scoredle saw my guesses as 16/556, a mediocre 7/14, then 1/6 and finally the 50-50 guess for bogey (though the other possible was bogus). Scoredle goes for the key vowel with its third guess (instead of my waiting for the fifth), which gets it a pure tap-in par for its trouble. NIce bounce back for the algorithm after yesterday’s -OUND fiasco.

REMIX → That’s a pretty good start. I can add two more WoFcons and check the A with
RATES → Placed the E, not much else. L & N still out from the WoFcons, but looking at that E I’m worried it might be another -ER word, so I’ll try that along with an O and… RONER? ROLER? Better try a… P instead
ROPER → I was right on the second R! Two vowels left to go, RYDER wouldn’t be a Wordle word but I like the look of

Followup was 15/146, then 7/30 and 2/3 (really a 50-50, given that the third-ranked answer per Scoredle was pretty bogus). Scoredle likes the final two letters with its third guess, but then has trouble picking the other vowel, and misses a 50-50 to finish with a bogey.
