I was reading an old trivia book and it asked what 2 English words end in y but have no a, e, i, o, or u in them.

There was a whole puzzle in the game The 7th Guest where you had to spell out an entire 8 word sentence by rearranging letters on cans where the only vowel used was Y.

The solution was:

SHY GYPSY SLYLY SPRYLY TRYST BY MY CRYPT

None of those end in Y

It sounds like it’s looking for two two-syllable words, but even that doesn’t work with the answer as you have dryly and shyly at least. Maybe two two-syllable nouns?

That only proves I need more coffee before reading the Dope.

Why??

Dope aficionados know that “gry” is in there somewhere.

It was an outdated book, for sure.
