A dryer. (okay, slight nitpick - I own
…a dryer, but it quit working.
So what appliances do you not own? Washer? Refrigerator? Stove?
Dishwasher
Washer
Dryer
We live in an apartment and there’s a very well-kept laundromat right across the street, so it’s not much of a hardship. I just throw everything in at once, once a week.
The clothes and stuff, I mean. I do the dishes in the sink.
No Dishwasher
No Electric Can Opener
No Microwave
All by choice, I’ve found they’re actually more trouble than they’re worth for me.
No washer, dryer, dishwasher, or garbage disposal.
I miss the dishwasher the most.
I wish I had a dishwasher. I hate doing them by hand and I’ve never mastered the art of getting them clean. My drinking glasses always have spots and smudges on them.
I’d also like to have a refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, but I’ve managed to get by on using ice trays for all these years.
I have managed to live for 38 years without a salad spinner.
PunditLisa, what a coincidence! I have too!
I also don’t own a waffle maker, an electric can opener, a toaster oven, or a George Foreman grill!
Now just how cool am I?
I, too, have no salad spinner
Or an electric can opener to assist with dinner
No B&D jar opener to help with caps
No garbage disposal to grind my scraps
There’s no steam cleaner to get out spots
A waffle iron I have not
My kitchen has no Foreman grill
No Hoover wet-vac to suck up spills
A rice maker will not be found
No under-cabinet radio producing sound
There’s one more thing missing from my life
I have no electric carving knife!
[sub](not anymore, anyway. Once you use it to trim the bottom of a Christmas tree, it’s pretty much shot )[/sub]
No dishwasher. Had one in an apartment once, but it was more trouble than it was worth. Besides, Mr. S likes to soak his arthritic hands in the hot water. And what would I do with my “Mr. Natural Does The Dishes” sign?
No electric knife or can opener. But I NEED my garbage disposal, dammit! And I use my food processor all the time.
No washer. Our dryer is the old, old one left over from when his sister lived here. It works, for drying towels and such. We just use the Laundromat. Haven’t gotten around to feeling like we need to do the wash at home yet, I guess.
I don’t have a 1920’s st… muffled shouts as I am led away
