If both games are draws, then the higher-scoring team between Germany and Sweden goes through. If the draws are the same score then Germany goes through since they won the game vs Sweden.

Die Mannschaft must be getting desperate, they can only hope the 2-0 Sweden scoreline is deflating the Koreans’ psyches and makes them offer up less resistance.

No. If Sweden win 3-2 and Germany win 1-0 then Germany is out.
Sweden is so much bigger and stronger than Mexico. I don’t think this result happened because Mexico was flat. Sweden has been excellent all tourney and shut out the Italians twice to qualify.
And people say this is boring… I dont even care if Germany or Mexico goes through and I’m nervous!
So Germany is pretty much gone by now no matter what? They don’t look like they’re in for a sudden flurry of goals here.
