What are peoples suggestions for the next round?
Just one man’s opinion on the next couple of rounds.
Tomorrow, start a thread for Round 3, which would include the round of 16 games played on the 15th and 16th. If an entry isn’t in by the time Germany and Paraguay kick off, that person gets a 0 for the round.
Start a thread for round 4 on the 14th, once the final group D games are done. This round is for the round of 16 games on the 17th and 18th. If an entry isn’t in by the time Match 3: G1 vs D2 kicks off, that person gets a 0 for the round.
The Round 5 thread could start on the 18th. This round would be for all quarterfinals games.
Round 6 thread can start on the 22nd once the quarters are done. This round would be for the 2 semis.
Round 7 would obviously be for the final and the 3rd place game. Start the thread when the semis are over and close the entries once the 3rd place game kicks off.
As for points, I say keep it the same as we have done. Except, you should probably give Coldfire double points for anything he gets right. He could probably use them.

So, Mullinator - round 3 of the prediction game for the four second round matches on the 15th and 16th, then round 4 for the four second round matches on the 17th and 18th. Then round 5 for the four quarterfinal games, round 6 for the two semis and round 7 for the final and the playoff. All predictions to be in before first kickoff, giving people at least two days to make predictions.
Sounds good to me. Except for the bit about favouring the Dutch
