"World in danger", says NYT front page

The online version of the article doesn’t have the same subheadline, but it’s right there on my paper copy.

Have they ever done anything like that before?

I thought the headline was

"WORLD ENDS!!

Women, minorities hit hardest"

You guys need new material.

Frightened people are easier to control.

The full headline I am seeing:
Deep security breach cripples NSA
Mysterious group steals powerful hacking weapons, putting world in danger.

A little different than what the OP says

Yes, the NYT online version will constantly A/B headlines over time or as the news evolves. The original headline will be in the URL slug and you can go to a bunch of articles to see how the URL differs from the current headline.

They can’t afford to leave?

I may have worded that poorly. I meant have they ever outright said the world was in danger before.

How? It says right there that it puts the world in danger.

But isn’t sticking to the same old stuff kinda the point of conservatism? So, I guess, points for consistency there.

That was the headline in the New York Times.

The headline in the Wall Street Journal was:

"WORLD ENDS!!

Markets to close early Friday."

Møøse and sqvirrel first! Vimmen and children second!

What’s the difference between the New York Times, the New York Post, and The New Yorker? Because I’m pretty sure that when I read all the politically themed articles that people get upset about, I’m not sure which is who and why, and I am missing something important when I do.

The New Yorker is a magazine by and for snobs. The New York Times is a newspaper by and for liberals. The New York Post is a tabloid by and for lunatics.

The Post is my favorite of the three.

Speaking as a designated lunatic, nope, not our rag.

The New York Times is still publishing?

I could swear the president announced that they were failing.:dubious:

The New York Times said, “God is dead and the war’s begun”
