Most of the addons seem to be broken. It’s taking over a minute to get an attachment from an email. The server has crashed a couple of times. It’s a flaky mess.
So what’s the ETA for the maintenance hotfix, tomorrow AM? 
About half of my addons are OK (pitbull, bartender, simpleMiniMap, bison) but others are borked (Carbonite, fubar).
Most of my addons are out of date now, so I had to check the option to load out of date addons. You folks might want to do that as well (click Addons button on character loading screen, then click the “load out of date addons” checkbox). Titan Panel had an update out, which was convenient.
Under Interface -> Objectives, uncheck “Advanced Objectives Tracking”.
Sounds like a standard patch day.
Mail system’s probably overloaded due to the changes in Riding skill level requirements. Everybody between levels 20 and 30 getting a letter about Apprentice Riding, and Everybody 40-60 getting one about Journeyman Riding, all at once.
I did check that option. I got deluged with Lua errors and database errors and other errors. Arkinventory wouldn’t update: I sold stuff, got mail, and so forth, and the contents of the bags didn’t change. Mobinfo freaked out every time I moused over something. It was pretty ugly, so I just turned most of them off.
TitanPanel and Bongos were the only ones with no problem at all.
Do you ever get the sense Blizzard doesn’t like addon programmers much? Oh sure, they provide hooks into the API for addons and allow them to be used in the game, but the code seems to substantially change with each major patch, enough so many addons break, even though I can’t really see a reason why it would.
Having 3.2 makes me happy, and all my characters that can now have their mounts, but I need to wait a little while for my addon authors to catch up. Everything but TitanPanel and IceHUD appears to be busted.
I got a lot of errors too, and when I griped about the hideous ground texture problem I was having, a guildie recommended I update my graphics card driver. Other than that, everything seems all right. I have regular flying now and flew around Outland for a while till I got bored. It’s going to be a long time till I get Cold Weather Flying, though.
Plus everyone who can now get flying probably is, as my lvl 80 hunter who didn’t have the faster form of flying got mail. Not to mention the mail spam from the Orphan Matron in Dalaran.
…120 honor points etc. …for these boots?
Just doing some shopping in Refuge Point, and saw these boots that were stronger than mine, and decided to buy them, and the title line is what I was asked by the game.
“Honor Points”: Is that the “Friendly, Revered, Exalted” etc. part of your reputation, and you don’t want to give those points up?
And secondly (NOT a question), just because of all the stuff I have learned from y’all, I decided to level my mule. (His name is Wollkie and he too is a warrior. He’s now an 8 and I have created 3 flight paths for him already: Stormwind City, Sentinel Hill and Red Ridge.
That last one was kinda tricky because on my way to RR, he was attacked and killed by a couple of Tarantulas which were a higher level.
So I summoned the healer, got her to rez me, and dove into the Lake, came up around the higher level beasts, made it to the flight master and clicked on her, creating the new path.
I thought that was pretty “slick” of us!

actually if you are masochistic, make a level 1 and get every flightpoint you can access … it involves a lot of running around naked and dying [if you are naked your gear doesnt take a hit =)]
Nothing like taking a level 1 human all the way from elwynn to teldrasil =) though we did debate if it was cheating to use the tram between stormwind and ironforge…we decided yes=)
Okay, anybody know why they took away my Seal of the Martyr?
Jebus. Suddenly over 8k latency (up to 18k at some points). I’m getting kicked off the server every 10 seconds or so. Getting very, very frustrated.
Remove your weaponry, tap the lizard and sit down with your back to it?
Tell me you’re not leaving after one try… it normally fixes itself if you keep walking in.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for me to get the “Did Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?” achievement.
No, I’m making several attempts, as well as watching the other people standing around the entrance who are also unable to get in.
Or for a mage to skill up dagger (use a bought grey one and fireblast the lizard if he gets pesky).
Yep, essentially they wanted to reduce paladin burst for pvp reasons but not nerf their pve damage so they did several changes to seals in this patch. The damage recoil on SoM was always problematic so they decided to remove seal completely. With the changes to Seal of Command just removing the recoil would have resulted in paladins having three seals that just does extra holy damage on melee hit.
No, Honor Points are what you get for killing enemy players(as long as their level is not much lower than yours, same as xp from mobs) and completing objectives in battlegrounds, spend 'em when you find something you want, you can always get more later 
Did the first two quests already…It’s only 20 times, not 2000.
Unless I’m the only one who got the “Double Secret Backroom Deal”.
