Not I. My main and several of my alts are on Borean Tundra. I have most of my other alts on Eldre’Thalas (my main’s original home), as well as an alt and a farmer in the SDMB guild on Cairne (Burning Dog Legion, if you’re interested in rolling an alt there).

One of our GMs has hinted for a while that guild changes would be coming. It’s been positioned as positive changes, so I wasn’t overly concerned about it. But since it has been a while and I know the officers and GMs had a big palaver last weekend in vent, I thought I’d ask if they could share any information.
The thread sat for a few days an one of our most outspoken members charged in an mostly started making demands that the GMs tell us what the changes are.
This in turn got a response from another member (brother of one of the GMs) and another post from me explaining that I wasn’t demanding anything. I just wanted to know what the changes might be so I can decide about whether I want to take a break from raiding or not. I know what the rules are now and what I lose by taking some raid time off. But if the rules change, I may decide to not take much time off to preserve my position.
In most ways I don’t care what the rules are, I just want to know what they are and how they will affect me. No more, no less. No inquisition, no hard feelings or anger.
A few more contentious posts followed mine.
I’m not looking forward to whatever comes next.

tacoloco, the fault lies with the GM/officers for not making any information available. You did nothing wrong by sensibly requesting any updates they had. It takes all of two seconds for them to say, “Sorry, guys, we’re still hashing things out, and we don’t want to confuse the matter by giving you conflicting information until we make a final decision.”
Gratz Martu! My wife and I had our 2nd back in May. I’ve managed to train my body to function on little sleep…about 4-5 hours a night. You’ll find a rhythm in a few months.

This got my thinking about my 10 man Ony the other day. We were on phase 2 and happened to all be stacked up near the west whelp eggs and the big add came in. He came running down and stopped like he didn’t have an aggro targetwas waiting to find a target, but then the warrior tanked charged in. This got me thinking…Does the big add auto aggro the group right away or will he just stand there if no one is in range? I might have to test this sometimes unless someone had already tried.

I feel bad for the drama that is going to ensue. But I feel worse due to some of the comments made by the GM’s brother.
Paraphrased it was that there should be reprecussion for people who take a month off before ICC because he wasn’t going to grind Ulduar only to lose a major upgrade to someone who hasn’t raided for a month.
In principle, I agree. But just because someone has more time or desire to raid in the final month before ICC is released doesn’t make them more valuable or more deserving than the people who did the hard work on the content that is now farm content. Plus it’s ironic that a guy who has had a spotty attendance record until recently is QQing about the possibility of losing some piece of loot in ICC.
He’s also the guy who’s be bitching a lot in raids about performance. Probably half the raid are new recruits most of which don’t have the experience in LK raids that the rest of us do and are not geared out like our regular raiders are. I expect raid performance to be down until all the new people get completely geared up and completely comfortable with the fights.
Jbone, I’ve found your way of thinking about some things very helpful. It really is MY $15. Nobody else should dictate how I get to enjoy it.

It can’t possibly be that easy (i.e. that you could just ignore them). If nothing else, they’d eat the face off of whatever healer or DPS was unlucky/stupid enough to aggro them later in the fight.
