World of Warcraft Quest Help Please: The Vow (Hyjal)

I’m trying to find Elemental Bonds: The Vow, as the quest reward is a piece of gear I could use. However, the instructions say to speak to Thrall in Hyjal; Thrall in Hyjal is not offering me any quests. I’ve already turned in three sets of Mark of the World Tree.

Is there something I’m missing?

No, it’s not a stupid question, and no I didn’t do the pre-req. Thanks for pointing out to me that there is a pre-req! :smack:

So I just start killing elementals and wait for Thrall to offer a quest? Or is there a pre-req to the pre-req to make Thrall offer me this quest?

WoWHead isn’t always clear on stuff like this, but it looks like you need to talk to Aggra to get the pre-req. If she doesn’t have a quest for you - then quite possibly there’s a pre-req for her to hand out that quest too!

There is an entire quest chain that involves killing elementals in various places prior to The Vow. The initial quest in the chain is The Call of the World Shaman, offered at your capital city (one for Horde, one for Alliance).

Some people have had trouble starting it depending on how many quests they’ve done in Hyjal. There is one report that you can jump into the chain by talking to Aggra by the World Tree. Let us know if you have trouble starting the chain.

So far, I’ve been unable to find the quest mentioned in post #6, or this Aggra person mentioned in post #5. :smack:

For Horde the quest chain starts by the zone portals. Can’t help with Alliance.
