World's Angriest Cat

World’s Angriest Cat

Ooookaaay? Yep, the cat is wailing like a banshee, and doing its best threat display. But, the cat seems more scared/defensive to me, than angry. I’ve seen the video before, and the owner states that he isn’t an angry type cat, it is that he was scared because he was caged in a strange smelling place with dogs in the area etc. Some cats don’t do well in cages, at all. Even humans don’t much like being in the hospital.

that’s not an angry cat–it’s a scared cat. Very , very scared.

With the amount those ears are put back he looks like a Scottish Fold. Damn, he certainly ooks pissed. But I hope we wasn’t abused and that’s what’s going on.

We had one regular customer who would bring her two cats for boarding at least 6 times a year. One cat hate hate hated us for the first week of each incarceration and would act exactly like the cat in the video. After the first week, he was roses and sunshine.

Some critters do not like change.

If you listen to the lady on the tape, she gives the impression from how she speaks and what she says that she is cares about the cat, I assume who’s name is “Burgers and Fries”. And the conditions of the place seem to pass muster as far as cleanliness goes. The cat looks very healthy as well. Idk, this is a funny video, and I LOVE cats.

Maybe it’s possessed by demons?

it very well possibly could maybe.

I never said the place was dirty? puzzled It was at the vet’s and I think it was either very ill, and maybe going to have surgery. As I said, some cats just do not do well in a cage, especially a cage at the vet’s which smells all chemically (disinfectant) and where there are strange cats to be smelled, and also dogs. Of course the cat was scared!

You’re right, you didn’t. I let my reply to your comment spill out into addressing the concerns I read about possible abuse from another poster.

Actually, now that I really look at it, I replied to the wrong post entirely.

This one’s a hellcat!

Of course it is, it’s a cat. They’re part of The Evil Plot.

If you skritch their ears they surrender.

I agree. That looks a lot more like terrified than angry to me.

Mr. Spock, my 28lb cat, earned himself the coveted “Bad Cat” notation on his chart while he was hospitalized for an abcess on his butt. He had had quite enough of people he didn’t know messing with his sore butt, thankyouverymuch, and decided to put a stop to it.

The minute he saw me he was all purrs.

I clicked the link to show it to my daughter…There were 4 of our cats in the room at the time.

One cat came flying off the chair, onto my computer desk, and peeled out upon it, like he was batshit crazy.

Another cat was on the bed, and upon hearing the angry cat video, she screamed and ran out of the room, running over the first cat that made it out the door right before she did.

The third cat was behind a chair, he clawed his way atop it, jumped off, and ran out of the room, also.

The remaining cat, our Siamese, was on the floor, next to where I was sitting, and he was looking up at me, and I just know he was considering using my lap as traction, to get to the computer desk, thereby getting a better view of the monitor.
So, I put my hand down, in front of his face, to keep him from using me as a bridge, and all the while, the screaming cat in the video was doing his thing, and our Siamese bit the fucking hell out of my hand!
I have two beautiful and perfect puncture wounds on the top of my hand, AND two beautiful and perfect puncture wounds on the palm of my hand.
They’re not bleeding much, but damn, do they ever HURT!

My daughter and I couldn’t stop laughing at the way our cats reacted to that video, even though I’m pretty much a sieve now…

Do not listen to this with cats in the room. YMMV.

You’d better have those wounds looked at, they can be very, very nasty. (And go from stingy to nasty overnight, no less.) I had a cat bite/puncture wound that went badly infected. Words to chill you to the core “I’m afraid it’s going to reach your bone…” said in a worried tone as the doctor examines the outside/base of your thumb joint. It took heavy duty antibiotics to put me right.

My M definitely DV. Pepper looked about as bored as felinely possible and laid down in her cat bed, totally ignoring the tortured wailing.
