Worlds worst Pit stop. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

This:

Fleet of Ferraris ruined in Japan sportscar pileup.

Not sure who it is but somebody deserves to be Pitted for this mess.

I’m having a hard time drumming up any sympathy. If you can afford a Ferrari, you can afford another one.

Whoever wrote that story apparently doesn’t know very much about Ferrari prices. It says:

…as if this is something surprising or unusual.

Here’s a used Ferrari for sale right here in the United States. Here’s another one. And another. All over $100,000.

Now, admittedly, quite a few of the Ferraris in that crash looked like F355s, which tend to sell in the $70-90,000 range in the US, but a nice 355 can still fetch over 100 grand here.

And some of the most expensive Ferraris of all are used.

Maybe not.

Just to help anybody in that crash feel a bit better:

10 Most Expensive Card Crashes

(Ignoring that in most of these cases the damage was nowhere near the value of the car, but that’s true of this case as well.)

According to the article, they were on their way to Hiroshima. There’s a nuke joke in there, somewhere.

That Magic deck was RUINED!!!

One of them was a 348. Those go pretty cheap nowadays.

There’s got to be some Asian Driver jokes in there as well, but not from me.

I’m very PC. :stuck_out_tongue:

Finally, the 1% are creating jobs for blue collar mechanics!
I invite them to crash ALL their cars.

A li’l bit of Bondo will fix most of that right up.

Now the estimate is getting closer to $4 million.

Send out for more Bondo.

I said this is the MPSIMS thread, but Japanese news reports that the because of the speeds involved, insurance won’t cover the damage.

Japanese “expressways” are anything but that, with the speed limit of 80 km/hr, a measly 55 mph.

(As reported by someone who once had a license suspended for 45 days for going less than 120 km/hr in a 60 km/hr zone )

logical conclusion, then, is that he couldn’t afford a Ferrari.

There’s a difference between being able to afford to buy a Ferrari and being able to afford to own one.

The name is Bondo – James Bondo.

So some rich idiots were speeding and ruined their expensive toys? Who gives a shit?

Yep! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’ll buff right out! Really, I’m sure it will!
