Worldwide radio star? Me?

Well, it could happen.

As you might remember, I’ve got a radio show. Due to unfortunate events, it’s no longer a daily morning show. But, it is a weekly late night show. And now, it’s broadcast not only over the radio, but on the internet. That’s right, you, too, could listen in and call in to the Arson show! Woo hoo!

Anyway, on to the story. Last week was the first week for us and the internet simulcast (sp?) and the phones went crazy. I loved it. We’d had a fair amount of callers before, but this was simply amazing. Now I’m two hours away from heading back to the booth to do it again this week, and I’m terribly excited. If you, too, want to listen in, you can check in the news section of the link in my sig, or just click here, because I’m that kind of host.

I love being on the radio. And it’s commercial free! Yay college!

Just a quick note for those of you who do want to listen, I suppose I should tell you that the show is from midnight to three, Indiana time (which I believe is Central right now). Just seems helpful to know.

You wanna see true international recognition, try calling football. I got an e-mail forwarded from Hawaii; a parent was listening to our game. I’ve also had listeners from as far away as Australia and Iraq.

I want to call some games for the station, but all those spots are filled by juniors and seniors. Someday, maybe soon, I’ll get to do that as well. I have a knack of saying things about five seconds before TV/radio announcers do while watching pro games, so maybe I’ve got something going for me.

Watch out for video!!
