So, I'm on the radio.

My partner decided (nor do I blame him) not to show up to our morning radio show today, so I’m down here by myself being bored. For anybody interested, our show broadcasts 5-8 AM, EST, and there is rumored to be a webcast, but I haven’t a clue as to whether or not it works. I’m also not real sure why I decided to start this thread, so here’s my spur of the moment thread topic. What great, entertaining jokes or stories can I relate to my morning audience to get them feeling good for another day of work or school?

Puns…all I got is puns:

A vulture boards an airplane, carrying two dead raccoons. The flight attendant looks at him and says, “I’m sorry, sir, only one carrion allowed per passenger.”

Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says “I’ve lost my electron.” The other says “Are you sure?” The first replies, “Yes, I’m positive.”

Actually amusing Dopers will be along in a moment to entertain you.

Puns work for me. I need something; radio is hard to do solo.

Do 2 voices and talk to yourself! “It’s the JimSox5 and Mr. Skippy Show”!!!

Or not. I’m not too creative this early in the morning.

Hmm. . .we’re named the Arson Show (came to by combining our names, not for some unquenchable love of pyrotechnics), so I could have some crazed lunatic voice. . .well, another crazed lunatic voice.

This just occurred to me to ask. . .has anybody tried to use the webcast link? I’ve never used it before, so I don’t know if it works or not. If anybody wants to test it, though, consider yourself encouraged!

I tried and got “Requested File not Found” - does that mean it’s a bad link?

It could. I can explain how to get there, it would probably work just as well. If you go to www.wabash.edu, click on the sports section, there should be a logo for the radio station on the right hand side of the page. Click on that, and it should bring you to the page I attempted to link to.
