A wife has done it twice after she caught her husband cheating. Many commentators believe the attack was well deserved:
Some men, however made comments I would not dare to repeat.

I went with option two. And would recommend sleeping on your stomach and taking precautionary measures until you are sure.
Don’t marry a psycho hosebeast? Wait, that’s not in line with the current Oprah feminist-lite zeitgeist. Hmm…would anyone else like to chime in on this one?
It’s worse than, not then.
I mean seriously, though, I don’t get why women give this kind of stuff a free pass, while decrying domestic violence. It honestly seems pretty inconsistent. Or wait, is pointing out female inconsistency ALSO in violation of the feminist-lite zeitgeist? CRAP. Now what? Hmm…
Oh god, I hate the excuses so many women give for acting insane after a guy does something shitty. Trash his car? Fine! Throw all of his clothes outside and lock him out of his own home? Totally cool! Physically attack and harm him? He clearly deserves it, the punishment isn’t disproportionate at all!
Being angry, hurt, and upset is completely reasonable, but for fucks sake, being an abusive monster isn’t some empowering feminist ideal to strive for.
I hope these women have no problem with men who catch their spouse cheating cutting clits off or carving them out or something.
I mean fair is fair right? Cheat and lose your clitoris, just and fair.
Psycho bitches like the two quoted are an embarrassment to the female gender. I cannot believe anyone would seriously hold such a view.
…
There was a hit song that specifically endorsed this behavior a few years ago. It got big “whoop” cheers in bars and clubs, but then again MTV never played it with the video stripped & mug shots of women arrested for DV scrolled for the songs duration.
All the poll options are various forms of victim-blaming.
I really don’t know if I believe the story to be honest. “According to reports in China”? Reports from whom? Where?
That being said, there is no circumstance, ever, where it is OK to chop off a man’s penis. I suppose if he is actively beating you at that moment and the only way to get away is to stab scissors into his dick, I might accept that, but never this level of brutality. What happens to women who cheat? What do we get cut off?
Don’t sleep with a psycho, to be sure. But there is psycho (going crazy and throwing his stuff on the lawn and lock him out like our Not a Platypus says) and then there is PSYCHO - cutting off his dick.
Besides, it may be an effective way to keep him from straying - ? But it does kind of render the thing useless for your own purposes!
Lastly and most important - why would you want to keep a serial cheater anyway? Let him go to the other woman!
So you’d be the perfect person to put on my [theoretical] jury when I took a baseball bat to the ex who beat me multiple times and caused a skull fracture, cool beans man! [not a theoretical ex, by the way …]
Violence like this is an understandable, though not ideal, response to domestic violence. For infidelity, though? Just divorce him.
Rule one for guys: Don’t stick your dick in crazy.
Sex ed really should include:
How does one recognize crazy? How does one reject crazy?
That situation doesn’t seem to apply here. People are talking about responding to infidelity with domestic abuse and physical mutilation.
It is not okay for ex husbands to kill their Ex because they won’t take them back. But it happens. No one is endorsing it that I see.
It is not okay for women to mutilate a man over infidelity. But it happens. No one is endorsing it that I see.
Both of these things are tragic and should NEVER occur, are NEVER okay, in any way! (Am I being clear, on this?)
Which of these two things do you think happens more often and is actually a ‘problem’, and not an every once in a long while occurance?
Considering the dangers of sexually transmitted infections, infidelity could easily be considered a form of domestic violence.
If I mutilated my wife for cheating on on me, people would rightfully call me an asshole, and hopefully I’d end up in jail. I can’t see a moral difference created by flipping the sexes.
Unless the cheater is setting out to catch an STD and then pass it on to her or his partner, that is complete and utter bullshit.
