Personally I think the last Hanson video I saw sucks really hard. The band takes a big old grandma-style RV to the desert, and then get on top and sing some horrid pop love song, while in the background lots of guys on dirt bikes do wheelies.

That so-called video was just made up for Live Aid (Which, alarmingly, may have been before your time). That’s why it wasn’t rehearsed or flashed up to be anything too amazing - it was pure last minute.
also from that mtv special, i cant forget nelson and after the rain. this wasnt a video, it wuz a frickin mini-series. and worst of all, after the whole thing with the drunk dad and the trailer and the tears and nelson coming out of the poster on the wall and taking the kid to a honest to gosh nelson concert (possibly the only one, ever) they rub yer face in it by singing the refrain about 87 TIMES while doing that skid row thing with their impossibly long and straight and blonde hair. i believe that the cia has a copy and its made many other forms of torture obsolete. amnesty international has a case about it before the united nations as we speak…
The Stranglers! Great band. Good song. (Althought the one of theirs I really like was “Nice’n’Sleazy”.) All the more shame on Flock of Seagulls for disgracing it by association.
