I assumed because N was untypable for them. How else could they explain it?

Eh, I now post with my phone. The n on my Chrome book is beyond dead. It’s easier to read on the chrome though, so I bounce back and forth.
You can easily remap another key, say, tilde. You’ll just slow your typing speed until you relearn

And an external keyboard is another option.
My brother in law sent me a book on how to stay married after his first divorce. After that, he went through a second divorce and subsequent long term relationships. Meanwhile I’ve stayed married to my wife for 61 years after dating her for 4 years. I didn’t read the book.
