Would aliens really want to visit us from another planet?

Putting the impossible stuff aside, what if there was another planet that had spacecraft capable of visiting the planet Earth. They were humanoid in nature as well. Do you think from them taking a look at our movies and how we study things that they would want to stop in and say hi?

Some examples:

Would they volunteer to die to donate their bodies to science for us humans and the planet Earth?

If their planet was better to live on then ours, would they mind if we took it over and gave them our sick planet?

I guess they wouldn’t mind us taking apart their spacecraft and asking to see what other things we could use to help us.

Would we actually leave them land or try to blow the hell out of their ship before they reach the ground?
